With a flat-screen TV for evening relaxation and ample heating, the lodge balanced practicality with a touch of luxury. Although remote, this location was just a 20-minute drive from Windermere and nestled near several quaint gastropubs. The comprehensive welcome book became an invaluable resource for local exploration. While the lodge promises a peaceful retreat, families should prepare for a car-centric experience.
